Week 2 Assignments

     The assignments that were due for grading on January 30,2011 and January 31, 2011 are A1, A2, questions and activities under the cloud forum called An Invitation to Teaching Science, your blog link under the cloud forum called Share the URL of your Blog Here. A1 is the scientific me which is like an autobiography. A2 is to put your blog website in the notes part of the submit file. Under the cloud forum labeled  An Invitation to Teaching Science, you were suppose to answer questions to chapter one and then post them, answer questions to chapter two and then post them, and sketch a scientist. You were also suppose to link you blog so the people in the class can see go see your blog and then become a follower of that person's blog.

This entry is important to tell as a teacher for a few reasons. As a teacher it is important for students to be told what is due and what days it is due. I would as a teacher give a week by week what is due handed out each Monday. This weekly assignment sheet will be handed out Monday and will tell all the assignments that are due for that week from Monday to Friday. 

The assignments that I liked for this week are A1 which was scientific me and questions from the book. 

 It also a good idea to ask when assignments are due and to also work on projects before the do date. It is important to work on projects a few week in advance and that will give students the habit to get their work done sufficiently. 


I really liked assignment A1 Scientific me and thought that it would be a good idea for students to do. It would be a great way for students to learn what type of science they are . I would ask the students to write about what the students have learned in science so far in regard to topics that the students have learned. I would ask the students to write about what they like about science. It is important for students to write what the students learned about science.


I really think that as a teacher it is important for students to answer questions. I think that it is important for students to be quiz or answer questions about things that students have read. By answering questions or being quizzed on questions based on a reading is important to help students remember the information that the students read. As a teacher I would definitely have my students answer questions to see if the students understand the material. These questions can help the students understand the material read in the chapter and it is important for students to understand the material because that material would be on the test.
