Peer Feedback

When providing your feedback keep the following format in mind:
Three Pluses and a wish.This informal assessment is designed for you to provide feedback for each of your Micro-Teaching presenters and any presentation that you will design and present. As the name suggests, after the completion of any class presentation or activity you will be asked to comment on the three positive aspectsof the presentation (try to focus on professional instructional variables here:logic, structure, usage of class readingsconvincing argumentsetc.) and then describe one aspect of the presentation that you "wished" had been different(not necessarily "better") than as presented.
This should not be viewed as "busy work." Think like teachers!...if you had been doing this presentation how you would have changed it. Train your brain to become reflective!
What seemed to go especially well? Be accurate and honest!
It works for your professional growth and develops your creative critical thinking skills and professionalism
Post your evaluations on the DF here = Peers Feedback

3+ The handout of the PowerPoint is very informative and has relevant and useful information.
Wish: There was more time to go over some of the examples in more detail.
Dear Sarah,
+ 1 . your PPT was very informative;
+ 2 . excellent examples of signals; quite a variety! (visual/auditory/verbal)
+ 3 great demonstration of the topic and Check For Understanding was well prepared!
wish : you spoke a little more clearly & louder.

   I like giving peer feedback to my classmates because it gives them something positive and tells them how well they are doing because of the three pluses. The wish helps my classmate improve on what they did not do so well on. It helps to improve for the next presentation and so they know what they can improve on. It is always good to give peer feedback to help your peers feel like they did a good job and also see what they need to work on to give a better performance next time.

As a teacher it is important to give feedback to your students. Teachers should give back feedback in a positive way. Feedback should be given to a student by the teacher and also all of his or her classmates. I think that the three pluses and wish are very good way for students to give feedback to eat other. By giving feedback to a student it helps that student improve and learn what the student needs to do better next time. It helps the student to see what the student needs to improve or work on. Teacher and students give tips on what the student did well, what we like about the project or presentation, and in a positive way what was not so good about the project. This way the students have feedback and know what the student did really well with and what the student needs to improve on. It is important for students to get feedback because there is always room for improvement and students can grow and become better at something with some feedback from the class and teach. The student can take the feedback and improve on the areas that the student was weak in.
